Get Extreme and test your limits.

What's Your Sign recognise that in order to find a workable solution for bringing down the number of new infections that occur each year, we need to ensure that the information available to those that are in immediate danger and at risk of infection is portrayed in a collaborative manner.

What's Your Sign would like to offer you this opportunity to join forces with us and actively promote yourselves within our website pages.

If you agree with one or more of the following statements, we would like to hear from you to discuss the potential avenues we can explore together:-

  • We believe that HIV positive service users would benefit from higher levels of acceptance within their local community from businesses, potential employers and the general public!
  • We believe that the stigma surrounding HIV positivity limits the development of a newly infected individual's self esteem, and therefore increases demand on already stretched HIV services within our local community!
  • We believe that our service users would benefit greatly from actively engaging in fundraising opportunities for their local HIV agency, charity or organisation including media exposure from the local press and radio stations, giving them the opportunity to share their experiences thus preventing exposure to other individuals potentially at risk!
  • We believe that confidentiality should be covered by the Data Protection Act, which all companies holding both personal and sensitive data must adhere to, and that HIV agencies could have a louder voice if we all stand and be counted. We should not advise "Who to tell & When to tell" as everyone should be told and at any time. Making HIV positivity commonplace among community and family members, may in the long term allow those not directly affected to become more accepting.
  • Actively engaging in Extreme activities could in the long term encourage the audience at large to consider revising there opinions about what HIV positive individuals are capable of!
  • Promoting a range of products and merchandise, specifically designed to encourage individuals to take their part in the fight against HIV and AIDS more seriously, would be supported and actively encouraged by those not directly affected by this chronic illness.

  • These are just a few of the mixed feelings that some members of the community at large face on a daily basis and in no way should be interpreted as the beliefs of the staff at What's Your Sign.
